Finally there is a fly shop catering to the three corners angler. I booked a trip through the shop on a recent trip to Keene, and the owner responded immediately, and set me up with a great guide. I can't say enough about how seamless the experience was. I am eagerly awaiting the full retail opening. If the shop is as good as the guide service, it should be awesome.
As a new resident of VT I didn't know where to turn for a quality fly fishing experience. My best friend was coming for a visit and I wanted to show him a fun, productive time. Well, thankfully I ran across BrattleFly. I sent them my request and they responded immediately and hooked me up with a fantastic guide for a great day of smallmouth bass fishing on the Connecticut River.
Jeff was very helpful and informative about the trip. The guide was great. There was some bad weather coming so he offered us a date change for the day before. His demeanor and approach to teaching my wife the dynamics of fly fishing was perfect for her. I'm planning on booking another trip later in the season. Highly recommend BrattleFly and their team for both beginners and advanced anglers.

The Connecticut and West Rivers join forces on the north end of downtown Brattleboro, at the doorstep of BrattleFly. Between them, there are trout, largemouth & smallmouth bass, carp, northern pike, panfish, shad, and more.

Not yet — full retail opens October 1. Right now, booking is open for guided trips on the Connecticut and West River, Vermont fishing licenses are available at 45 Linden, and events (fly tying nights, etc.) are running on schedule. A partial selection — flies, leader, tippet, a limited run of rods and reels, plus quick-start bundles for beginners — goes on sale before October.
